Homesick Pie 

You start off with a golden flaky pie crust. Place it in a decorative baking sheet.  Fill it with a mixture of cinnamon caramel apples. Slow cook them with a diverse mixture of various housewarming spices like nutmeg, cinnamon, and vanilla. These smells will transport you to the aroma of your grandmother’s kitchen in the fall. Make sure to use granny smith apples which will offset the sweetness of the ingredients.
  Toss the apples in a medium heat pan and add blend of brown sugar butter and the spices. Separately make a decadent gooey caramel. This caramel mixture would go directly on the pie crust then the apples layered one on top of the other in an orderly matter. Then add some of the caramel to top it off and add another layer of pie crust. Once you take it out of the oven, serve immediately. Add a scoop of ice cream to the warm scrumptious pie and have all your trouble washed away.
